Wintercrown Building

Design by Eric Brandt Architect

The Wintercrown Building
Telluride Main Street
Completed 1995

The Wintercrown Building is a mixed use project of 30,000 sq.ft. in the center of Telluride that includes the Eagles Bar and Restaurant. Additionally there are six retail spaces, 40 office suites, five penthouses and an underground parking garage. Cut sandstone, random stone and brick with painted steel detailing compose a project that divides around the south courtyard into two distinct buildings. This composition and the historically proportioned building elements ensure compatibility in the heart of the Telluride Landmark Historic District. As the project designer, Eric Brandt successfully coordinated with the owner's diverse planning team.

Eric Brandt Commercial Architecture

The design of this building was done while Eric Brandt was an associate with Greenbank Architect of Telluride. The design team also included Urmston/Steinbruck Architects, Los Angeles, and Steven Langford Architect, Irvine.
